Lulu Snowflake

OH MY LORD! The hateful drama and hen pecking on YouTube is definitely something else indeed. At first I was really surprised by it because sometimes people have been really hateful toward each other. Then again, on the flip side, I understand it and why it exists.

Now, I think I need to clarify that not all drama channels are created equal. Some report actual news from the community that they belong to or news period. Rumors about celebs or other things in internet pop culture or opinions. Those aren't the channels that I'm talking about here.

I don't participate in negative drama and never will. Oh I'll be the first one to admit that I do occasionally pay attention to it but it's more out of fascination of how ugly it can be than anything else. People do love to watch a good shit storm and I'm no different than you on that. Don't get me wrong, I don't follow relentlessly but if something pops up like a live feed or video that is drama related, I'll listen to it or watch it while I'm busy working on other things that matter more to me.

I want to build this new tiny channel off of creative, original and positive content because I really enjoy creating the videos I post. Not off of negative chaos and regurgitation of what other people are saying. That is why I don't talk about other YouTubers or anyone else unless it is in a positive light.

YouTube is a lot of fun for me and I really enjoy every aspect of it right now just like I have for the past 10 years that I've been a creator on the site and that includes the negative. It is a plethora of people, content, subject matter and art. Throw in the drama, negativity and hate and you can see how it is a well rounded look at people and how the world really is. No one likes everyone and that's OK. Not everyone likes me or the character Lulu and that's OK too. Hate watchers are just a part of being on YouTube and the way I have always looked at it is that a view is a view is a view.

I love YouTube. I love how I am able to choose the content that I want to watch and the hateful drama is quickly becoming stale and old. To quote a favorite meme of mine, if you bring nothing but drama to the table, don't be surprised if everyone else gets up and leaves.

Mama always says that if you don't have anything nice to say about someone, don't say anything at all. I'm sticking to what Mama says when it comes to drama and hate on YouTube. That is why this is the only time you'll ever hear me talk about any of it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not under the illusion that it is completely avoidable because it isn't. That's common sense but I won't comment on it again after this post.

I'm sticking to fun, originality and creativity with this channel because those things are not predictable and there's always something new and fresh to watch. You never know what you will see next when you watch Lulu Snowflake and as an entertainer and character, I wouldn't have it any other way.

I absolutely love Sundays. It is my favorite day of the week. Whenever I have access to a full blown kitchen, I can create some awesome food and that's what this Sunday was all about. It's all about the food!

You don't know this because I've never told you but I love trying unusual things when it comes to food. Yumminess comes is so many small dishes and I'm always open to trying new, delish dishes.

Like this one. I've never had split pea soup before so since I was hanging out with Carlos at his house, I decided to take advantage of his kitchen and raid his fridge. This was the end result.

When you add homemade southern buttermilk biscuits and anything wrapped in bacon (in this case it was asparagus) magical things can happen. Magical.
